Not only does 2 Chainz have a knack for crafting hit records; apparently he's a heck of an actor too. That's according to Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs of the CBS comedy "2 Broke Girls." The Grammy-nominated MC will make his acting debut on the February 11 episode of the show and MTV2's "The Week in Jams" was on the set.
"It was real hard, but I knew I could pull it off," Deuce told "TWIJ." "Being 2 Chainz is a real hard task so what I had to do was wear 2 Chainz."
The show's stars had only good things to say about the rapper's dive into acting.
"He went really method," said Beth Behrs, who plays former rich girl Caroline on the show. "He's really funny. You got a gift for comedy. You're a good actor."
The "Birthday Song" spitter is used to rap compliments but looked to his new acting buddies for reassurance. "You just telling me that? You pulling my chain," he asked Behrs.
"Would we pull your chains, 2 Chainz?" Dennings, who plays Max, answered jokingly.
According to reports, on the February 11 episode, 2 Chainz meets the two broke girls at an airport during Grammy Awards weekend. After the show taping in January, the rapper shared a photo of him with the cast and show creator Michael Patrick King on Twitter while Behrs shared: "Just chillin with 2chainz... No big deal..."
If all goes his way, the Hair Weave Killer can clock his first acting job and his first Grammy win in the coming week. Tit's solo debut Based on a T.R.U.
