Following on from the success of debut release 'Sleeping Pills' and the widespread praise of recent single 'You Will Leave A Mark' which earned the band the number one spot in the Sunday Times Culture Magazine's 'The Hottest Downloads' Oxfordian quartet A Silent Film are now set to release their highly anticipated debut album 'The City That Sleeps' through Xtra Mile Recordings.
The album is preceded by the release of anthemic third single 'Thirteen Times The Strength' on 22nd September – A subtly powerful explosion of cascading harmonies and harrowing melodies that further emphasises the band's unique songcraft and undeniable talent for thought provoking, sincere lyrical content.
They were Steve Lamacq's 'NEW FAVOURITE BAND' on his 6Music radio show reently and have played Glastonbury through the BBC Introducing campaign.
The band, also start a run of UK Support dates with US enormous band OneRepublic on 23rd September and will be bringing their incredible live show to the following venues.
