Robbie Williams has paid tribute to the man he called his mentor David Enthoven.
In a Tweet Williams posted "My Friend, Mentor and Hero passed away today. David Enthoven I love you RIP x"

Records in London in 1969 with Tim Clark and signed the first record deals with King Crimson and Roxy Music. At one point David managed T. Rex and Emerson Lake and Palmer as well as Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry as a solo artist.
Recently he ran ie:music, a music management company representing Ladyhawke, Jimmy Page, Robbie Williams, and Passenger.
David died from liver cancer. He had only been diagnosed days ago.
