Robbie Williams' home renovation plans have reportedly ticked off Jimmy Page.
The 40-year-old pop singer is neighbours with the notorious Led Zeppelin rocker, 71. And now it's claimed Robbie wants to spend money upgrading his West London property but Jimmy doesn't approve.
The Take That star's home cost him a mighty £17.5 million to purchase, and now he is interested in "modernising" it, according to British newspaper The Sun. They're reporting he wants to bulldoze areas of the land, add a swimming pool and build a recording studio to create a "contemporary standard of family living".
He also wants to insert a window that overlooks Jimmy's property, but it's claimed the older musician isn't on board with any of Robbie's ideas. The lead singer and guitarist apparently believes his younger neighbour will make the area ugly with his modern finishings. He's allegedly written to the local Kensington and Chelsea council with his "extremely concerned" thoughts, hoping to put an end to the plans.
Robbie is supposed to hear back about whether or not he can go forward with the renovations in the next month.
The Millennium hitmaker lives in the giant home with his actress wife Ayda Field and their two children, Theodora Rose and Charlton Valentine. Their youngest was born in October 2014, and Robbie shared videos of the pre and post birth shenanigans via his Twitter page.
"[It's been a] very emotional, amazing few hours," Robbie declared at the end of his series of uploads. "We're really happy and honoured that you experienced the journey with us."
