Robbie Williams' wife Ayda Field has given birth to baby boy.
The 40-year-old singer had spent the previous 24 hours documenting the labour process in the hospital with videos and quirky tweets. Now, he has made a video to announce the news of their second child's arrival.
"So he's here!" the pop star said in a clip he posted to YouTube on Monday. "Its 3:10[pm] on Monday and we've been up for way over 24 hours now."
The former Take That star spoke to the camera as he sat on the bed beside Ayda, holding her hand. The American actress wore a broad smile as her husband gushed over her.
"I've never been more in love and never been more proud of my wife," he told the camera. "She has been absolutely astonishing."
The couple went on to explain that their little boy did not yet have a name, laughing that "he's still figuring that out".
Robbie continued, noting their son was born at 8lb 2oz. Ayda, now a mother of two, smiled and made the point that "every ounce counts".
Finally, the British singer concluded by thanking viewers and followers for tuning into the process with them via Twitter.
"[It's been a] very emotional, amazing few hours," Robbie declared. "We're really happy and honoured that you experienced the journey with us."
Previously, he had shared videos of himself dancing and singing to his hit Candy while trying to entertain the heavily pregnant actress, who looked unimpressed.
Another showed Ayda breathing heavily as he coached her along. The beauty seemed to take it all with good humour.
Robbie and Ayda married in 2010 and live primarily in Los Angeles, according to UK newspaper The Telegraph.
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Theodora Rose, in September 2012.
