Adam Ant has a announced a one-off special show playing his classic debut album, Dirk Wears White Sox, at Hammersmith Eventim Apollo on Saturday 19th April.
This is the first time Adam has performed the whole album in its entirety and it has always been an ambition of Adam's to do so.
The album, originally released in October 1979, was the first album to top the 'Independent Album Chart' and his last album before 'Antmania' struck, which saw Adam becoming one of the most recognizable faces in Britain and a National Treasure with Kings Of The Wild Frontier.
After the performance of Dirk Wears White Sox the band will do a set of favourite hits and songs from his latest album Adam Ant Is The BlueBlack Hussar In Marrying The Gunners's Daughter.
Prior to the Hammersmith appearance, his last live show in 2014, Adam will be playing a short tour, commencing in Manchester on April 1st. The full dates are:
