The Red Riding Hood star began dating Reese Witherspoon's ex-husband last year, following her split from long-term boyfriend Dominic Cooper.
Seyfried and Phillippe ended their relationship earlier this year, and she now wants to keep her future romances out of the spotlight.
In an interview in the November issue of British Glamour magazine, Amanda said: 'Dominic and I were together for such a long time so the coverage was always positive but when you've just started seeing someone and that person is really famous, it's more of a story. When I was with Ryan, people followed me so much more, and that's probably one of the reasons I'm not looking to date someone who's famous now.'
For now, the star is enjoying being single and isn't on the lookout for a new man, claiming that maintaining a romance can be exhausting.
The 25-year-old added: 'Although I think it's easier to be in a relationship than be single, I just don't know if I have the energy at the moment. In the past, whenever a relationship of mine ended, my friends would tell me to be single for a while - that it would be good for me.
'You don't have to check in with anybody except your mother, and there's all this freedom. You realise how many pressures come from being with someone.'
