Arctic Monkeys will perform two huge gigs in London's Finsbury Park this weekend (Friday 23 and Saturday 24 May 2014) and there is good news and bad news about the weather...
The Sheffield boys turned global indie superstars will perform to an estimated 80,000 fans across the two shows when they play in the North London borough, and will be supported by Royal Blood, Miles Kane and Tame Impala at both shows. However, this being early summer in the UK, weather is expected to be mixed over the two day event.
Friday:
Those with tickets for the Friday performance should enjoy the best of the weekend weather, with forecasts predicting a dry, if overcast day. There is no rain forecast, and there is even the likelihood of some sunshine in late afternoon, just in time for Arctic Monkeys to take to the stage for their headline performance.
Saturday:
Saturday, however, is likely to be a slightly wetter experience, with a mixture of sunshine and showers throughout the day. Light-moderate rainfall is predicted from the early hours of the day, likely to make the Finsbury Park gig a mud-splattered experience for gig-goers. Rainfall is expected to ease in the early evening, with dry spells expected as night falls.
Initial stage times for the both Friday and Saturday at Finsbury Park are below (but potentially subject to change)
