Nobody can accuse Arctic Monkeys of not working hard. The first half of 2007 has seen the band's highly anticipated and critically acclaimed second album 'Favourite Worst Nightmare' top the charts, as did drum-driven single 'Brianstorm' and it's video of booty shaking delights. The band have taken home countless awards and toured the world playing sell-out shows.
The second half of the year looks set to be even busier with the band playing Glastonbury Festival in June, T-In-The-Park in July as well as a number of huge shows across the country.
The band will play two days at Malahide Castle, Dublin (June 16/17), Cardiff Arena (June 19/20) and blow Manchesters socks off with two consecutive outdoor shows at the Lancashire Country Cricket Club on July 28/29.
'Fluorescent Adolescent' is the second single to be taken from 'Favourite Worst Nightmare' . The lyrical narration is supported by a striking video directed by Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd/Nathan Barley) , starring Stephen 'Scummy Man' Graham (Snatch/Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels) and a rather scary bunch of clowns.
The single is set to drop July 9 on CD, 7" & 10" vinyl formats.document.write(unescape("
