ARCTIC MONKEYS have revealed that they are hoping to release their next album this summer.
Drummer Matt Helders said the band want their third and yet untitled studio offering, which was produced by Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, in the shops by August.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music, Helders said all of the songs had been recorded and they were currently half-way through the mixing stage.
But he added: "We haven't picked titles or anything. It's just a case of tying it up now, picking what order everything's in."
The band are expected to showcase the album, the follow-up to 2007's Favourite Worst Nightmare, during festival appearances this summer.
