The source of the Arctic Monkeys' album title has been revealed.
'Whatever People Say I Am That's What I'm Not', which is released on January 23, takes its name from the line in a British film, the band have confirmed.
The quote comes from cult-classic 'Saturday Night And Sunday Morning' which stars Albert Finney. '
The 1960 film about a bored factory worker who has an affair with a workmate's wife is also a favourite of Morrissey's, who once claimed to have seen the film over 100 times.
Line in the film goes: "Whatever people say I am, that's what I am not. Because they don't know a bloody thing about me. God knows what I am."
The film was given to the Arctic Monkeys as a present from their record label, The Sun reports.
