Arctic Monkeys have revealed that their current live setlist has been inspired by The Strokes.
The Sheffield band's guitarist Jamie Cook said have decided to open with 'The View From The Afternoon' after seeing The Strokes play in New York.
“When I saw the Strokes at Madison Square Garden, they started with the first song on their first album, and it was great,” he told New York Magazine.
“I thought we should do the same.”
Cook went on to revealed that their setlist this year would feature a host of songs from new album 'Suck It And See'.
The guitarist also said he believed the band could experiment with their set more in American because “people are more willing to try things out” than in the UK.
'Suck It And See' is released next month.
