The Arctic Monkeys have won the major prize at the Q Awards after being named the Best Act In The World.
However, the band missed out on the two other prizes they were up for at the ceremony held at the Grosvenor House hotel in London.
The Best Album award went to Amy Winehouse instead, while Muse were named Best Live Act.
Meanwhile, Manic Street Preachers took the award for Best Track for Your Love Alone is Not Enough and Kaiser Chiefs' Ruby won Best Video.
Other winners include Kate Nash (Best Breakthrough Artist), The Enemy (Best New Act) and Kylie Minogue, who took the prize for idol of 2007.
