The lead make-up artist on Men in Black III has promised that the movie will feature "retro" aliens from the past.
Special effects make-up artist Rick Baker revealed that the look of the aliens will borrow heavily from the B-Movies of the 1950s and 60s, as opposed to more modern interpretations.
He told Coming Soon: "The thing that's cool is there is a time travel element [to the story].
"Where I had fun is that we go back to the Men in Black headquarters of the '60s. The first thing I said is that we should have retro aliens, not aliens of 2012. More based on B-movies of the '50s and '60s. So, a lot of the aliens are based on that. Space suits with fishbowl helmets and ray guns."
Men in Black III reunite Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, with Smith's Agent J travelling back in time to meet a younger version of Jones's Agent K, played by Josh Brolin.
The film is released on May 25, 2012.
