Beyoncé Knowles and Jay Z will barely communicate on their upcoming tour, fear sources.
The musical power couple are set to embark on their first ever joint stadium tour tomorrow in Miami, but tensions are said to be running high between the pair.
The On The Run Tour comes just six weeks after footage was leaked of Beyoncé's younger sister Solange attacking Jay Z in an elevator following a Met Gala after party.
"They might be sharing a stage, but while on tour they'll be living practically separate lives," an insider revealed to British magazine Grazia. "Tensions between them are worse than ever meaning they will be travelling between venues independently, staying in different hotel suits and even having separate entourages.
"They'll also have individual dressing rooms, so the only time they're together will be while they're performing."
In the wake of the leaked elevator altercation, both Jay Z, 44, and 32-year-old Beyoncé have been the subject of infidelity rumours, with some even claiming the rapper fathered a love child. The pair have put on a united front in public, but sources close to them says it's just a facade with neither looking forward to their upcoming gigs.
"They've both been dreading the tour. Cancelling wasn't an option, so on the surface it's going to be business as usual, they they're both struggling with trust issues after the spate of cheating allegations.
"Jay's given Beyoncé unlimited access to his texts and emails to try and keep the peace, but a lot of their communication will be through assistants," added the source.
Beyoncé and Jay Z will be on tour in the US until August 6 before jetting off to France for two European gigs.
