Bobby Brown is reportedly finding it hard to function following the tragic events surrounding his daughter Bobbi Kristina.
The 21-year-old is the offspring of Bobby and the late Whitney Houston. She was found unconscious in a bath on Saturday morning by her husband Nick Gordon and a friend.
Her family have revealed she is fighting for her life, with Bobby said to be grief-stricken as he keeps a bedside vigil by his daughter.
"He's so upset. He can hardly put one foot in front of the other," a family source told People magazine.
While Bobbi has remained unresponsive, those nearest to her are not giving up hope.
"The swelling [in her brain] has gone down. The doctor says that that by itself isn't the smoking gun that she's getting better, but it's still a good sign. But she's still not reacting," the source said.
The family released a statement thanking well wishers for their kind words. Bobby also asked for privacy surrounding the matter.
Bobbi's mother Whitney was found unconscious in a bathtub in 2012, and was later pronounced dead by "accidental drowning".
Bobbi's family are remaining positive, and are taking it in turns to sit and talk to her while she's in a reported medically-induced coma.
"If she's in there somewhere, we want her to hear us," a family member said. "We keep it positive. We tell her that God loves her, that we love her. That America is praying for her and that everyone loves her."
