Bobby Brown asks the public to provide Bobbi Kristina with "the love and support she needs".
The singer rushed to Georgia from Los Angeles yesterday to be with his daughter, who he shares with late singer Whitney Houston.
Bobbi Kristina was quickly transported to hospital on Saturday after being found facedown in a bathtub full of water at her home, and Bobby has implored fans to respect his family as they face the traumatic situation.
"Privacy is requested in this matter," he wrote in a statement to Us Weekly magazine. "Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time."
It's claimed Bobbi Kristina suffered brain swelling and was placed in a medically induced coma by doctors.
Apparently she is attached to a respirator machine and her health is rapidly deteriorating due to dwindling brain activity.
According to People, Bobbi Kristina has not regained consciousness since she arrived at the hospital and Bobby might have to make the decision to his daughter off life support if doctors can't revive her.
"[Bobby is] inconsolable," a source told the outlet. "This is his worst nightmare. Losing Whitney [Houston] was hard, but this is a million times worse, and to lose her in the same way would devastate him."
Whitney died in February 2012 and her lifeless body was found submerged in a bathtub at her Beverly Hills hotel suite.
Although the Brown family has feuded with the Houston clan in the past, they have supposedly banded together to support Bobbi Kristina.
"Everyone is holding hands, praying, hoping for the best. Everyone knows where things are at," the insider said.
