Bobby Brown isn't happy that his daughter Bobbi Kristina is engaged to wed.
The 44-year-old singer shares 20-year-old daughter Bobbi with late songstress Whitney Houston.
Reports surfaced last year Nick Gordon had proposed and Bobbi has taken to Twitter several times since referring to him as her "fiancé".
The romantic relationship sparked criticism as Nick was raised by Whitney, who is said to have called him her "son".
Last week Bobbi refuted claims their relationship was incestuous and confirmed they were indeed betrothed to one another.
In response to a question by TMZ photographers as to whether or not he was excited about the upcoming union, Bobby replied, "I'm not."
He told the outlet that Nick didn't formally ask for his daughter's hand in marriage.
Ultimately Bobby is rooting for Bobbi Kristina's welfare and wishes her the best.
"I just want her to be happy," he said.
Bobby and Bobbi Kristina have been estranged for several years now.
The patriarch remarried last year to Alicia Etheridge just months after Whitney passed and his daughter was absent from the wedding.
Writing on Facebook earlier this month Bobbi Kristina made it clear she is more than happy with her decision to wed Nick.
She also believes her mother would have approved of their decision.
"YES, we me nick are engaged [sic]. I'm tired of hearing people say 'eww your engaged to your brother or if Whitney was still alive would we be together or would she approve of this [sic],'" she wrote on Facebook.
"Let me clear up something, we aren't even real brother and sister nor is he my adoptive brother. My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating.
"My mom knows me better than any of you. A lot of yall are saying that yall are only saying this all out of love. Which is bull because if that was so, all you would want is for me to be happy."
