Bobby Brown has revealed he will "always" worry about his daughter.
In an interview with Today's Matt Lauer, the singer opened up about his relationship with his daughter Bobbi Kristina, his past use of hard drugs and his late ex-wife Whitney Houston.
Bobby has insisted Whitney was taking drugs before he met her, and he has now been forced to address concerns about Bobbi Kristina – following reports about her smoking marijuana.
"I will always be worried about that," he revealed when quizzed on the speculation.
However, the 43-year-old insists his daughter is fine. He claims he would know if she was in trouble because they share such a close bond.
"I know what she is actually doing," he said. "I think people are, you know, making assumptions of what my daughter is and how strong she is. People tend to want to control strong-willed people. And that's what I see… I am her father. She talks to me about everything."
He also slammed reports Bobbi Kristina is dating her 'adopted brother' Nick Gordon. The R&B star adds his daughter has remained strong through the grief of losing her mother.
"Nick's a good kid, I have nothing against Nick," he said.
"Her mom taught her well. I think we raised her really well. She's fine, she knows her mom is gone and she knows she has to live."
Whitney died in February after accidentally drowning in a hotel bath. Sustained cocaine use was found to have contributed to her passing.
