Bobby Brown pled not guilty on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
The troubled 43-year-old singer was arrested for a DUI in Studio City, California last month.
TMZ reports that Bobby contested the charges in court this week.
The judge presiding over this case suspended Bobby's driving licence and the star was ordered to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
Bobby has been convicted of DUI twice before, in March 2012 and in 1996.
Bobby was on probation for his March arrest, but the magistrate revoked this in light of his October arrest.
He was released on his own recognisance and faces two years in jail should he be convicted for this third DUI.
Bobby was undergoing treatment for alcohol addiction as part of a legal arrangement following his arrest for DUI this spring and most recently exited rehab in August.
A pre-trial for Bobby's new DUI charge will commence next month.
