Ask anyone who's seen "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 1" to tell you about the big wedding scene, and he or she will likely gush about how beautiful and emotional and perfect everything is.
Ask the castmembers, however, and you'll get a few extra details about the less-than-perfect conditions they endured while filming it.
"The wedding sequence was tough," Jackson Rathbone told. "There were a couple nights where we shot the reception, and it was 3 a.m., it was raining, it was cold, it was miserable. It's one thing when you're a guy and you're in a three-piece suit and you're like, 'It's a little cold outside,' and then the girls in their dresses and their arms are exposed, their legs are exposed, they're all freezing. I felt bad. You can't complain as a guy. I was sitting there [thinking], 'I can't complain.' Ashley is sitting there in this little dress and I'm going to look like a wuss. 'Oh, it's chilly out here, I better button up my blazer,' " he joked.
In addition to the chilly temperatures, Rathbone and his onscreen love interest also had to face a few challenges with regard to their safety during a little flip action during their characters' dance scene at Edward and Bella's reception.
"We had to get a new Ashley Greene," Rathbone joked when asked about the perils of flipping dance partners. "I broke Ashley. No, she was amazing," he said with sincerity. "She was an amazing trouper letting me do it, because it's dangerous, it's scary. We had rehearsed it a bunch, and then on the day, she was in the heels, so we had to rehearse in the heels to make sure everything was kosher. It was good. We hit it."
