Overview
The fourth installment of the vampire film series, which stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, landed first place again, and is expected to rake in $55 million over the five-day holiday weekend.
The Muppets came in second place with $40 million in ticket sales, while Happy Feet Two secured third position with $17.6 million.
Arthur Christmas landed fourth place with $16 million.
Battling for fifth position was Adam Sandler's comedy Jack and Jill and Hugo, which were both around the $14 million mark.
Rounding off the Top 10 are Immortals, Puss in Boots, Tower Heist and The Descendants.
