Brendan Benson is to release a second single from his acclaimed new album 'The Alternative To Love'.
The Detroit-based star issues 'Cold Hands (Warm Heart)' on July 4. Available on CD and 7", both formats come with additional new tracks. The 7†features a cover of the Gram Parsons tune 'Strong Boy', taken from the International Submarine Band's classic album 'Safe At Home'. The CD features 'Some Day' and 'Christopher's Revolt'.
Benson has just completed a sell-out tour of the UK. He is currently on tour in the US with Keane, but returns to these shores as special guest of Beck at the following venues:

Benson has also confirmed an appearances at Glastonbury (June 26), T In The Park (July 9) Ireland's Oxegen festival on July 10. He also performs at one of the new Wireless events in London's Hyde Park on June 29, the day Keane headline.
