Our favourite Detroit son Brendan Benson releases a new single 'Cold Hands (Warm Heart)' on July 4th. Cold Hands (Warm Heart) was cited by many as a stand-out track on his stand-out album 'The Alternative To Love' which was released to glowing reviews in March and Radio 2 have just championed it as their Record of the Week next week.
Brendan carries on to Europe supporting Beck and playing various European festivals such as Hultsfred in Sweden. UK festivals will not be bereft of the Brendan Benson band experience as he performs at Glastonbury on Sunday 26th June and then onto Scotland for T-In The â€"Park on 9th July and Irelands Witness Festival on 10th July. Brendan also performs at one of the new Wireless events in London's Hyde Park on June 29th along with Keane, The Secret Machines and Rufus Wainwright, amongst others.
