The pop diva made her comments in a Q&A-style interview with US magazine Out to promote her upcoming album Femme Fatale.
The Hold It Against Me singer, who poses on the cover of the gay fashion and lifestyle magazine in fishnets and killer heels, said that her sex education came from her 55-year-old mother, Lynne.
When asked at what age she first learned about sex, she said: “When I was 12, from my mum. I was confused and disgusted.”
The twice-married star, 29, also revealed that the “best advice” she has ever been given also came from her mother.
“My mum said that when you have a bad day, eat ice-cream. That’s the best advice,” she told the magazine.
Despite having a huge gay following and saying that she would still love her two sons “no matter what” if they turned out to be gay, Spears confessed that no woman could ever persuade her to swing the other way.
“I only have eyes for men,” she said.
