Britney Spears' ex-fiancé Jason Trawick has reportedly signed a confidentiality agreement.
The 31-year-old pop star and her talent agent ex announced that they were no longer a couple on Friday.
TMZ reveals that Jason signed a document barring him from speaking to the press about their romance around five months into their engagement, when he became Britney's conservator.
According to the website Jason wouldn't speak publicly for any reason, as he respects the former X Factor host far too much.
In a statement released to People last week, the pair confirmed they are ending their relationship on amicable terms.
"I'll always adore him and we will remain great friends," Britney wrote.
Jason shares Britney's feelings.
"As this chapter ends for us a new one begins," he added.
"I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever.
On the same day as their breakup announcement, Jason resigned from being Britney's conservator. The singer, who remains under court-ordered conservatorship following a very public mental collapse in 2008, now has her father Jamie acting as her primary overseer.
It is said that Britney's relationship with Jason went sour because he became more of a parent than a lover.
