Britney Spears` parents `back together`, US reports claim

Celebrity news websites claim Lynne and Jamie Spears are giving their romance another go and have been back together since the summer.

'They are back together and are doing well and happy,' a source told one website. '[They are] not remarried but back together.'

Lynne and Jamie, parents to Britney and her younger sister Jamie Lynn, divorced in 2002 after a 30-year marriage.

Shortly after the break-up, Britney claimed the split was a positive thing because her parents argued nonstop.

'It's the best thing that's ever happened to my family,' she said. 'My Mom and Dad, bottom line, do not get along. When I was a baby they argued.'

But if reports are to be believed, the couple have done an about-turn and were spotted looking cosy at Los Angeles lounge Boudoir on Saturday.

Onlookers allegedly spotted Lynne and Jamie cheering and dancing as D.J. Mr. Best played a selection of Britney's hits including Toxic and Gimme More.

'They were in a great mood together,' one eyewitness said. 'They were laughing together – dancing and laughing – and totally having fun.'
