Spears, who is currently making her comeback with new album Femme Fatale, could follow in the footsteps of megastars such as Cher if she takes the gig.
Britney, who turns 30 this year, is being courted by hotel and casino owners in Sin City, after her show at the Palms Casino Resort last week.
A source told British newspaper the Daily Mirror: 'Vegas moguls are holding meetings to secure Britney for a permanent show.
'If she performed in Vegas on a regular basis, it would attract loads of fans to the city. She'd bring in so much revenue. There is no doubt she would be offered at least as much as country star Garth Brooks, who signed a $100 million deal and has been selling out shows in Vegas since 2009.
'Britney would be an even bigger draw.'
