Bruce Springsteen stole a scene from Spinal Tap on the weekend at his Michigan concert. The Boss kept referring to Ohio.
When Springsteen came on stage in Michigan on Friday night he quickly greeted the crowd with "Hello, Ohio". He was appearing on stage at the Auburn Hills Palace in Michigan.
It didn't stop at the intro either. Springsteen mentioned Ohio a number of times over the next 30 minutes before Steve Van Zandt went over to tell the Boss he was actually in a different city altogether.
"That was every frontman's nightmare," he then said to the crowd. "I've been waiting 40 years to mess that one up".
It wasn't a complete disaster for the 16,000 strong crowd. All was forgiven when Springsteen and the E Street Band performed the classic 'Born To Run' album from beginning to end.
