The slightly hilarious hiccup happened on Saturday (17 May) when the boss was playing in Connecticut - but where he proceeded to repeatedly praise Massachusets. Eventually the rather baffled audience chose to correct Springsteen by shouting back "no" according to the New York Daily News.
He then corrected his mistake and proceeded to call out the Connecticut Food Bank volunteers who were fund raising at the show. Also fans were nevertheless treated to one of the icon's legendary 3 1/2 hour shows with guests including Tom Morello and The Sopranos actor Steve Van Zandt.
