Buster Shuffle write track to save 100 Club

The basement venue on Oxford Street, which has seen performances from the likes of Oasis, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, The Clash and Paul Weller, could be shut down in a few months due to spiraling overhead costs.

Club owner Jeff Horton claims that his rates bill has hit £4,000 a month and landlord Lazari Investments have raised the rent by 45 per cent, setting it at £166,000 a year.

Buster Shuffle are due to headline The 100 Club on the 3rd November 2010. A lifetime ambition for Jet their lead singer.

One Monday afternoon Buster Shuffle wrote and recorded The 100 Club song and video.
