Cameron Diaz ‘considering family’

The actress has been dating baseball player Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez for several months, although has refused to discuss their relationship in public. Alex has two kids with his ex-wife, and Cameron has been seen enjoying days out with them. Spending time as a family is said to have got the actress thinking, and she is now considering starting her own brood.

“At 38, she realises her biological clock is ticking fast. She’s tired of running around and wants to settle down with Alex. She never really wanted children before they hooked up but lately she’s had a change of heart,” a source explained.

Cameron and Alex have already discussed marriage, but are keen to start trying for a family soon. Alex is said to be hoping for a son, although both say the most important thing is that their child is healthy.

“They’re both really excited at the prospect of having a baby. He’s hoping for a boy this time, and she’d love to give him one,” the source added to National Enquirer. “I’m sure she’d be happy with either gender. And when the time comes, she’d be more than willing to put her career on the back burner so she can enjoy motherhood full time.”
