The 27-year-old and Lady Antebellum cleaned up at the award ceremony in Las Vegas yesterday.
Carrie picked up Artist of the Year, along with Single of the Year, Touring Headline Package of the Year, Album of the Year and Female Music Video of the Year.
Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott joked to People.com: 'Don't be surprised if we don't show up next year, because we want to go out on top.'
The ceremony was based completely on fan voting, a concept which Underwood knows all to well from her time on American Idol.
She added: 'My whole career has been fan voted, pretty much.'
