Carrie Underwood expects her husband to "redo" her birthday dinner.
The country singer turned 30 on March 10 and celebrated at her home in Nashville, Tennessee, with husband Mike Fisher.
Carrie says it was down to Mike that the occasion proved to be so low key and hopes for a special surprise from him soon.
"He bought me amazing presents he's really good at that. He was under the weather on my actual birthday," Carrie joked to ET Canada. "So I do expect a redo. I do expect a nice dinner out at some point. We'll call it my birthday dinner."
Carrie married hockey player Mike in a glitzy ceremony in 2010.
She says the next milestone in her life could be children.
"I know he does want kids sooner rather than later but the scheduling!" she laughed. "I know that sounds silly and if it happened you'd make it work, but seriously, I'm on tour now. Then this is happening next year, then this will happen. At some point we'll have to say, 'Let's just do it.'"
The American star also joked about ageing in the public eye. She says it's strange that people have a preconception about women's looks fading after they reach 30.
"It's amazing the amount of people who said to me, you know, 'You're 30 but you look great'. It's like, 'Was I supposed to fall apart when I was 28?'" she quipped.
