Chanelle Hayes discovers the reason why her Christmas tree died

The 23-year-old told her Twitter fans that she couldn't work out why her festive tree had started dying.

She said: 'Think I put my tree up too early, it's gone all droopy and lifeless :-s trying to figure out what to do about this situation...hmm...'

However Chanelle, who is mum to five-month-old son Blakely, later found out the reason behind the tree's downfall.

She wrote: 'Ok, so I found out the crucial detail about my xmas tree out when it was already too late. I shouldve watered it!!!! Duhhh!'
