Charli XCX previews six new tracks from her 'Sucker' album

Charli XCX played six new songs from her forthcoming sophomore LP ‘Sucker’ at her show in Orlando, Florida. Watch them below.

Stereogum reports that Charli XCX played six new tracks including “Famous,” “Caught In The Middle,” and “I Need Your Love” in the Social in Orlando. As the videos below show, XCX has maintained some of the mystique that characterised her debut album True Romance” but has bolstered it with the heavy hook-based technique from singles such as “Boom Clap.”

Earlier this month XCX, announced that her album ‘Sucker’ would not be released on 21st October as planned but would be delayed until 26th January in the U.K./Europe and 16th December in the U.S.

This came about due to the surprise success of her solo single “Boom Clap.” XCX spoke of the delay on Twitter and revealed:

it's all COOL nothing's WRONG the albums DONE but it's just no one really knew boom clap would do as well as it's doing....

I'm overwhelmed by the love for boom clap & the support from all u angels, I need to put the date back so I can launch the album properly...

(i had no idea boom clap would hang about for so long... It's mind blowing and cool so thank u for that!)
