Church, 24, broke up with the British rugby star earlier this year and they will be spending half of December 25th with their children - Ruby, three, and Dexter, two next month.
Asked about his plans for Christmas Day, Henson, 28, said to Britain's OK! magazine: "Hopefully I'll be back in my house in Wales spending the day with my kids, parents, my sister and her little boy.
"Obviously it'll be a bit awkward because Charlotte and I have split. I think the kids will wake up with Charlotte Christmas morning because they live with her and I'll have them for lunch in the afternoon.
"I don't know whether we're going to rotate it every year but I'm sure we'll be amicable about it."
