Charlotte Church's boyfriend was questioned by police after allegedly verbally abusing train passengers while drunk.
Wales rugby ace Gavin Henson - father of the singer's three-month-old baby daughter Ruby - and three friends had been celebrating his club team's win on Sunday (02.12.07) and horrified fellow passengers with their outrageous behaviour.
Passengers claim they were subjected to a tirade of four-letter abuse and showered with beer and spit on the 19.37 train from London Paddington to Cardiff.
Witness Melody Jones said: "They were vomiting, spitting, swearing and intimidating others and punching each other.
"This is someone children look up to but he wasn't a man at all. He was an animal. I saw him slam his fist into another man's jaw in a game. If I heard the 'c' word once I heard it 500 times."
Another onlooker claims that when a lady asked the group to clam down, they became abusive, forcing passengers to call the conductor.
Train staff radioed to ask police to meet Gavin and his friends when they arrived at Cardiff station.
Train firm First Great Western said: "The train manager did what he could and contacted the British Transport Police who spoke to the men." Police confirmed they spoke to four men and would question them again when "they are completely sober".
Gavin's club, Ospreys, said: "Spirits were high among the group and they apologise for any inconvenience to passengers."
Sources close to Gavin say Charlotte has begged him to be more responsible now he is a father.
