Charlotte Church is planning to throw a huge party when her children go to visit their dad this Christmas.
The Welsh songstress split from Gavin Henson, the father of her two children Ruby, three, and Dexter, 23 months in May and revealed that she will console herself in their absence by having a big celebration with her friends and family.
She said: 'Obviously at some stage over the Christmas period Gavin will have the kids in which case I will just have a big house party. It will be difficult when they're not around but that's just the situation.
't's very important to him that he sees them around that time, it's going to be a special time for him as well.'
Before the children go to visit their rugby star dad, Charlotte is planning a small quiet Christmas at home with just the three of them.
She told BANG Showbiz: ''ll be at home with my babies cooking a lot and wrapping a lot of presents. It will be quite small this year. In years past I've had everybody and that's too much, I can cope with about six dinners, anything more than that and I lose the will to live.
'My house will look like Santa's Grotto because I'm big on Christmas, I love it and it will just be me and the kids.'
The 24-year-old singer admitted she was finding the thought of being away from Ruby and Dexter painful, but is relieved she and Gavin remain on good terms as it makes the arrangements easier to organise.
She said: 'We're both grown up adults and we both just kind of have to deal with our own personal issues but whatever is best for the children. That's something we both have in common which is handy really. Luckily ' I don't really know how it's all happened ' but it's all down to logic really and a love of our kids.'
