Charlotte Church ordered Gavin Henson to move out after a furious row.
The 23-year-old star - who has two children, Ruby, 17 months and five-week-old Dexter with the rugby ace - decided she'd had enough of Gavin after several explosive fights and was ready to end their four-year relationship.
However, just hours later Charlotte reconsidered her decision.
A source said: "It's been a tough few weeks because Gavin has been really down with injuries and is low. Charlotte meanwhile, has two young children to care for and with Gavin at home a lot more, tensions have been running high.
"A recent row culminated in Charlotte ordering Gavin to pack his bags and move out. She'd simply had enough."
The couple managed to resolve their issues and are determined to get their relationship back on track.
The source added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "After a few hours, they calmed down and Gavin stayed put. They are determined to work through their problems and are confident things will improve on the domestic front."
