Chet Faker has shared a letter from a fan on his Instagram account, furious that he took a phone from an audience member - and had the audacity not to return it with a selfie.
Faker was performing in Perth yesterday (19 June) when, according to the message from a fan, he approached a fan "and took the phone out of her hand."
The singer posted the message with his own caption: "Pop quiz... what is more important than capturing a moment?"
The fan seemed that Faker had not recorded anything on the phone or taken a selfie. How selfish of him.
It's fairly unclear from the message whether the phone was returned at the end of the performance.
Faker's debut album, Built On Glass, was released in April, and included the singles 'Talk Is Cheap' and '1998'.
