Chris Brown has been accused of stomping on a fan's head while staging a nightclub appearance during the Cannes Film Festival last month (May16).
The Kiss Kiss hitmaker was performing at the Gotha nightclub in Cannes on 18 May (16), when Malek Mokrani was among the party-goers in attendance.
In video footage obtained by editors at TMZ.com, Brown is seen on a platform, trying to move away from a large cluster of people, and in the process, he appears to step on a man's head. The singer is then featured angrily turning around before walking away from the commotion.
It is unclear what happened to prompt the fracas onstage, but Mokrani claims he was hospitalised with neck and head pains as a result of Brown's supposed actions.
Photos purportedly taken following the club clash show Mokrani lying in a hospital bed, wearing a neck brace, with bruising to his face. He is now planning to file a police report over the incident.
A representative for Brown has yet to comment on the report.
It's not the first time the 27-year-old singer has encountered trouble in the Cannes nightclub. Back in 2012, he reportedly became engaged in a fight with club security officials after he was refused VIP table treatment.
Brown's 2016 trip to Cannes, France also got off to a bad start on 16 May (16) after he and his crew were kicked off a private jet at Miami International Airport in Florida for allegedly smoking marijuana onboard. The star has disputed the plane drama ever happened, but reports at the time suggest police had been called to escort the group off the aircraft. No arrests were made.
Brown is currently on his One Hell Of A Nite World Tour, with the next stop on Copenhagen, Denmark, on Sunday (05Jun16).
