Chris Brown was reportedly ejected from a private jet for smoking marijuana on the aircraft.
Police were allegedly called to the Signature Aviation at Miami International Airport on Monday (16May16) after Brown's pilot complained he smelled a strong odour of marijuana coming from the cabin, according to editors at TMZ.
The pilot had reportedly warned the 27-year-old and his entourage not to light up on the aircraft, but they ignored him even before the plane had started moving.
Once police arrived they are said to have noticed the smell too and asked all the passengers to leave. No arrests were made.
It is still not legal to smoke marijuana recreationally in California, however the state has a thriving medical marijuana industry, and produces more pot than any other state, including those that have already legalised it such as Colorado, Washington and Oregon.
In six months time California will join Maine and Nevada in deciding whether or not to legalise adult recreational use of the drug.
The news of Brown's misbehaviour comes after the singer's neighbours in Tarzana, California complained he was loudly riding his all-terrain vehicle (ATV) quad bike in the street. And on Friday, the Kiss Kiss singer was seen in a Snapchat video riding with daughter Royalty and Tyga's three-year-old son King Cairo perched in his lap.
Brown appeared to be riding the children around inside his compound during his daughter's second birthday party.
