It's been more than two years since Chris Brown and his Young Money homey Tyga dropped their more than memorable Fan of a Fanmixtape, and hopefully they won't let themselves hit the three-year mark before dropping a sequel.
When MTV News caught up with Tyga on the set of Waka Flocka's "Get Low" video in Atlanta, he said fans should look out for a follow-up to the 2010 project.
"I got a mixtape called Well Done 3 I'm about to drop, I got an album with Chris Brown called Fan of a Fan 2 that I'm actually working on too. We got the Young Money album, so we working non-stop," Tyga said.
The original Fan of a Fan made a significant impact as it included "No Bullsh--" and the chart-topping single "Deuces," both of which were later featured on Breezy's F.A.M.E. LP. When FoF first dropped, Tyga was still building his buzz in the Young Money camp. He wasn't exactly a rookie though; the Los Angeles spitter dropped his debut album No Introduction in 2008.
Over the past year, T-Raw has raised his profile significantly, thanks to the release of his sophomore long-player Careless World: Rise of the Last King. The album has spawned hits like "Rack City," "Faded" and "Far Away." Now, the expectations on Fan of a Fan 2 are exponentially greater, but Tyga doesn't seem to be feeling any pressure, he is just doing what he loves, simply.
"Last King, it's been crazy, I just got back from Lebanon. I'm doing things that I never thought I'd be doing this early in my life, but at the same time I'm just having fun," he said. "This is what we do, music is what I love to do. I wouldn't rather do anything else."
