Chris Brown's Australian tour is currently up in the air after the Australian Government issued the convicted domestic violence aggressor a notice of intent to refuse him a Visa.
Fairfax Media reports that the Australian government has now carried through on its threat to stop Brown entering the country just one day before tickets for his Australian tour were to go on sale.
Brown is already banned from entering Canada, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
Brown was found charged with the assault of his popstar girlfriend Robyn Rihanna Fenty in 2009. He pleased guilty but avoided prison, instead being sentenced to up to five years of supervised probation and six months of community labour.
Brown has toured Australia twice since then, in 2011 and 2012.
Domestic Violence is a maybe problem in Australia and a focus of governments to control. In the state of Victoria the Andrew's Labor Government has been pro-active funding resources to educate and combat Domestic Violence. The federal government has also allocated funds for the prevention of Domestic Violence in Australia.
Fairfax reports that Brown was official given notice by the Australian Government on Friday night.
Now that the government has given Brown notice of its intent to refuse him entry into Australia he has the choice to either challenge the decision or cancel the tour.
