CHRIS BROWN'S sister has spoken out in his defence and insisted he's not the violent type.
Days after the disgraced R&B singer was arrested for allegedly beating up singer girlfriend Rihanna, his sister Lytrell Bundy said he'd always been "a good boy".
Speaking to Extra TV, she said: "He's never been prone to aggression. He's always been a good boy - never violent."
And she said he was coping well following the intense media attention after he was charged with making criminal threats.
She added: "He's doing good. He's coping... He's doing as... as to be expected."
Brown, who allegedly choked Rihanna until she passed out while threatening to kill her, witnessed domestic violence as a child.
He has admitted in previous interviews that he was "scarred" by the beatings his mother endured at the hands of his stepfather.
But Bundy insisted that she and Brown had a "normal sister and brother relationship, nothing different, nothing strange."
