Love can be tricky, just ask Chris Brown. Breezy has been on a roller coaster of emotions this week, running around New York City with his ex-flame Rihanna and publicly breaking up with Karrueche Tran. Rather than have the media speculate on the affairs of his heart, the pop sensation decided to release his own mini-doc: "The Real Chris Brown."
"Y'all don't really get the real Chris Brown, so I like to just be honest," Breezy says in the clip, which he released onto the Web early Friday morning (October 5).
"I'm just stressed out. It ain't about the music, I love my fans, it's just that when you share a history with somebody and you tend to fall in love with somebody else, it's kinda difficult," he said as B-roll of him and Rihanna and him and Karrueche flashed on screen.
The viral vid comes just a day after Brown released a statement to MTV News announcing his split with Tran. "I love Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna," he said after stating that he wishes to remain single and focus on his career.
Earlier this week, Brown and Rihanna were spotted together at a New York City night club and at a Jay-Z concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Though he said in his statement that he and Rihanna had a "friendship," it seems to be just a little more than that.
"Is there such thing as loving two people?" Brown asked in his new viral video. "I don't know if it's possible, but I feel like that."
"The Real Chris Brown" doesn't exactly provide answers for those curious about the "Deuces" singer's tangled love web, it just simply documents his difficulty with being in love with two women at the same time. "I don't want to hurt either or," he said. "It's just me I'm not trying to be a player, I'm not trying to be a dog, I'm not none of that. You know my mother raised me differently, I just care too much sometimes."
