It appears the Chris Brown tantrum has worked in his favor. His 'alleged' violence today on an American talk show has driven his new album 'F.A.M.E.' to no. 1.
There is no such thing as bad publicity in the music biz and it appears Brown has had a sales windfall from the publicity that his destruction has generated.
After storming off Good Morning America this morning because of a question about his former girlfriend Rihanna, Brown went into his dressing room and is 'alleged' to have started screaming before breaking a window.
Staff at the ABC TV program reported hearing the vocal anger coming from the room and then hearing the smash of glass.
Brown then left the TV studio but not before performing the tribal ritual of removing his t-shirt to flex his muscles and show his tattoos.
Brown took offence to questions about his previous violent act by taking out another violent act.
Today's incident could lead to his restraining order against Rihanna being reinstated, possible jail for breaking terms of his parole and a retraction of his Australian Visa for his April tour.
The upside though is a no. 1 debut for the album on the American iTunes store today.
