Chris Brown has recorded a secret collaboration for his next album.
The American singer is due to release his sixth studio album, X, on July 16. The star has worked with several big-name artists including rapper Kendrick Lamar and DJ Diplo on his new album, but wants to keep the latest one under wraps.
"Just did a collaboration for my album that is priceless!!!! Not telling! (sic)" Chris tweeted today.
Chris, 23, has also been busy helping other artists with their respective new albums. Just last week, Jennifer Lopez dished on her work with Chris.
"We were in the studio, writing songs and just getting that whole Jenny from the Block flavour back," she told American TV programme Extra. "We actually worked on a bunch of ideas... And we talked about doing a duet together for his album."
Chris revealed getting the opportunity to work with Jennifer was very exciting. He also hopes Jennifer will make good on her duet claim.
"I'm trying to get her on my album, I have a couple songs that would be incredible for her to feature on," he told MTV recently. "But as for now, I'm just in the studio writing for her album and collaborating on new stuff and trying to give her some party music and fun stuff."
Fine China, the first single from Chris' new album, was released last month.
Just this week, Chris un-followed on-off girlfriend Rihanna on Twitter after allegedly seeing a picture of a fan kissing the Barbadian singer on the social media site. Rihanna, 25, is currently on her Diamonds World Tour, which began in March.
