Chris Brown hit and run accuser won’t prosecute

Chris Brown's hit and run accuser has decided not to pursue prosecution on the matter.

The 24-year-old singer was charged with two misdemeanours by the Los Angeles City Attorney's office in association with the May car accident involving Olga Gure-Kovalenko.

Allegedly during the incident he refused to hand over the correct insurance and licence information to Olga and she said he called her a "b***h". The star is also accused of driving without a valid driver's licence.

Olga's lawyer Freddy Sayegh told TMZ that his client won't take Chris to court because "there was no physical injury and only minor damage to her car".

But apparently Chris still has legal woes looming due to complications stemming from his 2009 assault on Rihanna. He remains on probation for this crime and according to the website this hit and run accusation could secure a place for him behind bars.

Should the judge presiding over his probation deem this a violation Chris could be in prison for up to four years.

According to the website, The Los Angeles City Attorney's office hasn't dropped the case entirely as they "want some time to think it over". He could also still be pursued by the city for driving without a legitimate licence.

Chris has previously vented his frustration over the entire situation.

"It's not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has NO DAMAGE to either cars)," he wrote on Twitter. "This is really ridiculous.

"I have a valid driver's licence and I gave the woman the right info. She saw cameras and wanted to make a scene," he added.
